Tortillas

Before reading this piece i had known little about the tortilla and the importance of it to the Mexican culture. I really liked how Jose explained that in Mexico each tortilla that is made is unique in its own way, being hand crafted. I never knew that the tortilla was used for so many different things in Mexico, from a child using it as a mask to making it onto the dinner tables of many families throughout the world. Another thing i thought was interesting was the expansion of tortillas throughout the world, although they are mass produced here in the USA, it is much easier for everyone to enjoy! But eating mass produced tortillas really makes me want to try a real hand made tortilla in Mexico!
